What do I get when I sign up?
A free starter kit: 2.5-gal indoor bin with liners and a 5-gal outdoor bin with lid. Weekly curbside pickup is included.
How often is pickup?
Once per week on your assigned route day.
What does it cost?
$28/month for listed cities (one 5-gal outdoor bin). Billing is sent securely via FreshBooks.
Do you offer referral discounts?
Yes—get $3 off per month forever for each new customer who lists you at signup. Discounts stack.
What happens to my food scraps after pickup?
They’re delivered to professional composting sites where microbes turn them into high-quality, manure-free, lab-tested compost.
Do I receive finished compost back?
Yes- Each March we send out an RSVP form for bagged compost. The first 1-cubic foot bag is free, subsequent bags are $12 delivered. Watch for the RSVP email in early March.
Which areas do you serve?
Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor, Loveland, Severance, Berthoud, and Greeley (and nearby routes).
How do I pay?
Invoices arrive via FreshBooks; just follow the secure link to pay online.
Do you use electric vehicles?
Yes—CGC features zero-emissions EV collection for quieter, energy-efficient routes.
When was CGC founded?
Established in 2014 and based in Fort Collins, CO.
Who processes the compost?
CGC partners with A1 Organics and other state-certified facilities to ensure high-quality composting.
