Founded in 2014 by Greeley native Geoffrey Schmidt, Common Good Compost is Fort Collins’ trusted provider of residential food waste recycling and curbside compost pickup. As Northern Colorado’s first full-circle service, we partner with A1 Organics to process materials to high standards and have diverted 2M+ pounds of food waste from local landfills. Our mission is simple: make composting easy for Fort Collins homes and mission-aligned organizations with clean bins, on-time weekly routes, and a spring compost return to close the loop.
